I am looking for good German recipes.
I am getting back in touch with the German side of the family and learning German and now wanting to make stuff...prefferable desserts or yummy stuff...

Any good ones you know of?

Mmmmmmm........German food....I likey!!

My whole family (both sides) is low german (Mennonite), but I don't know much of the language, lol. For some reason my parents didn't teach me and most of my aunts and uncles didn't teach their children the language either.

My favorite mennonite german foods are:

Verenkje(also spelled Wareniki)(Cottage Cheese Perogies) or Keilke(Noodles) with Schmonte Phat(Cream Gravy)
Roll Kuchen(Crullers) with watermelon
Pluma Moos(Fruit Soup)
Milk Moos with fruit(Milk Fruit Soup)
Komst Borscht(Cabbage Soup)
