listen I like them the kangal is cool but, can you show us them attually gaurding and doign their work insted of 2 men who in my eyes look liek 2 little boys tryignt o get their dogs to fight. This is the USA and Over here we belive in IT"S NOT THE SIZE OF THE DOG IN THE FIGHT ITS THE FIGHT IN THE SIZE OF THE DOG. Also thous vidioes that you show are more of the dogs fighting and being agressive. that animal crultly over here making them make the other dogs do that and fighting or tanting them that makea dog agresive. Akita

I will admit that are cool I would have one but i dont have the room. I'm the typ of peson were I liek people and love meeting them but want them to see something cute liek my chi or cool like a kangal but let them also see I have protection not to mess with me. I'm very protective of my self and I really dont need a dog to protect my self but its comferty to know i dont have to be on gaurd at times becuase thats when you are vonirable but a dog thats big or small is always on aleart. Exspecally working dogs like theses guys and hunting dogs are pretty good at it as well. I like the other on to the fluffy one that looks like a chow mixed with a bear. they to me look liek an over sized fluffy pomeranin that turned in to the incredibul hulk.
I've been lookignthem up I dont liek them fightting ot how they size them up but showing them and seeing ones with them with a flock doingthere job and loving on there owners I like.

You say about Turkish Kangal that males 29 inches and females 27 inches above. That's not true. Come to Turkey and you will see that a real Kangal dog is AT LEAST 32 inches 81cm (males) and 30 inches 76cm (females). at shoulder. In Turkey we don't call Kangal to dogs which are smaller than this. But usually Kangal males are 34 inches 86cm. and females 32 inches 81cm high in Turkey. Also you can see 38 inches 96 cm high Kangal dogs too. So the information that you gave above is WRONG, not true.
And we can say that the average height of the Kangal dogs are higher than the average height of English mastiffs. But the average height of Great Danes, Irish wolfhounds and Spanish mastiffs are approximately equal to Turkish Kangal dogs. So we can say that the tallest breeds are: Turkish Kangal, Spanish mastiff, Great Dane and Irish wolfhound. And the most powerful is of course TURKISH KANGAL DOG.

I didn't say the other breeds are bad. No, they are beautiful too. Also there are 36 inches high English mastiffs but most of them are not that tall. There can be very tall and heavy dogs from all giant breeds. I love English mastiffs too but not as much as Turkish Kangal. Kangal is something different. How can I explain. You must live with them to learn and my English is not very good.
Moreover, in ANATOLIA there are very very big and heavy shepherd dogs which are from no breeds. They are only shepherd dogs with a very big head. You can not find those kind of dogs in everywhere. But in Anatolia, you will be surprised. Unbelievable shepherd dogs are living in Turkey. Those kind of shepherd dog's height is about 40 inches 101cm and their weight is about 220 pounds 100kg. Believe me most of the people in this world don't know about this and those kind of shepherd dogs have no fear. They only eat what their owner gave them. Never other things. Anatolia..miracle dogs' land..Also I can say that I never want to feed small breeds. I only love huge dogs. Turkish dogs are huge.

Yes,this is true.
Even the American bred German Shepherds and the German bred German Shepherds look different as well as several other breeds.I searched all over and these are the only pictures I could find of Kangals with family.Because from everything I read,they are work dogs.

However I was trying to make a point.
Why just show these dogs looking "tough"? Show some other pictures of them other then pro-fight pictures.These dogs are beautiful,but I am against fighting and rather not see pro-fighting pictures.Even if it is legal there...it is not legal here and I don't wanna see ONLY pro-fight pictures.So whynot post other pictures of them?

I know not everybody in every country has got the same feelings on dogs as most dog lovers have got but, dogs in many countries are working dogs not many are seen as family pets or companions i suppose its just the way of life i guess for them. I know for a fact in pakistan dogs are seen as dirty unclean animals and must only be kept as working dogs thus to serve their purpose as guards dogs, dog fighting is still legal in these countries i guess animal welfares still got a long way to go.
