Our rabbit ran out of hay last week, so we went to walmart to get some, and of course they were out of alfalfa, so we got him some timothy hay. He eats it, but not as much as he ate the alfalfa.
do you think we should keep him on the timothy hay so he gets used to it? or should we get him more alfalfa? or mix the two maybe, i think if we mix them he might jus pick out the alfalfa anyway, hes a lil bugger like that. hes 5 months old btw.
Also, how do you store your hay?

he should be switced to just timothy hay soon. i would start mixing the two and see what happens. when he gets six months he should only be on grass hays. (not alfalfa)
i store my hay loose in a large rubbermaid tub. they hay needs air to keep healthy.
