Hey everyone,

My chinchilla has recently started tilting his head in a sort of weird way. He doesn't seem to be in pain, but he also isn't tilting it out of curiosity or anything like that. He's still eating, drinking, grooming himself, and he isn't hopping in circles or anything.
Should I be worried? On the one hand, he seems fine. But on the other, I have read that head tilting can be a symptom of all these terrible maladies and that chinchillas don't show pain until it's REALLY bad.
Help!! I just moved, so maybe it's just stress. In any case, I don't want to subject him to the stress of a vet visit if he's OK.

He needs to see a vet. Head tilt can be indicative of many things, including inner ear infections.
