What is his disposition like? Does he like to be held? Is he snuggly? Is he used to all the attention he is getting?

He has the most amazing disposition ever. My kids run around like lunatics and he just looks at them like they're nuts, he doesn't get startled or anything. He'll let anyone pet him, and he mostly just lays around at your feet waiting for you to scratch his ear or give him a treat. I'm SO very happy we found him.

Oh he's also completely 100% litter trained! So he's been hopping all over my house and I don't have to worry about finding little surprises anywhere.

Aww i don't know how i missed this post! hes huge! 22lbs? thats more than twice as much as ours congrats on your newest addition, and Welcome to Paw talk!
I'm incredibly jealous, he looks Soo loveable! you must post tons of pictures of him! If i ever got another rabbit i think it would have to be a flemish giant. :heart:

No offense, but I would never go to a breeder to get a specific breed of any animal. By doing that, you're just encouraging more breeding of already overpopulated species. If you want to adopt another bunny, there are plenty in shelters that could use a good home before the shelters kill them. I can even recommend a specific shelter in West Palm Beach that I know has bunnies, though I don't know where in Florida you are, so that may be a bit far for you.

I found him on petfinder.com I would def suggest looking there first. The shelter we got him from was amazing - they gave us him (1.5 years old, already fixed, house trained, and litter trained), a huge crate, a carrying case, litter box, bowls, 1 month supply of pellets and hay - all for just the adoption fee of $75. I personally prefer getting a slightly older rabbit.

Okay so this question may be gross. But how big are his droppings?

The pellet droppings are the same size as my friends little 8lb rabbit, but the quanitity is like triple the amount. I literally have to clean out his litter box every single morning and sometimes twice a day. He had one of those other poops yesterday morning - you know the ones they eat? I thought it was the hugest smelliest thing I've ever seen, but I don't know how it compares to other rabbits. :lol:

I got my first 2 bunnies from out pet store and I now have realized that I don't want to do that anymore! I just don't know about shelters here that have them!

I am not really that close to West Palm Beach! That is the other coast! I live in the Tampa Bay Area!

You can find every type of rabbit in shelters too! Large rabbits are very common in shelters because often people don't relize how big they'll get when they get them as tiny little babies. But serously, I've seen some of the cutest rabbits in shelters, all sizes and colors!

He's doing really well, thanks! He's like a combination between a puppy and a giant teddy bear. He hops all over the house and sleeps behind my husbands easy chair. He comes and sits right on my feet when he wants me to pet him - so there is no escape lol.

He's so awesome - I'm really really happy we adopted him. Even my husband (whose first reaction was "What in the **** kind of mutant rabbit did you bring home?!?") has grown really attached to him.

Congratulations, he's truly a lovely looking rabbit - looks pretty relaxed already too I think you'll really enjoy him. I have a 1 1/2 yr old female and she's quite the character. She knows exactly what she wants and doesn't take no for an answer. Let us know what you name him.
