well it's only a short thread really.

I am getting my Guinea-Pig a new hutch and i was wondering if my Guinea-Pig will be un-happy living by itself?
Will i need to get another Guinea-Pig to keep it company ??

All comments and Inforamtion will be very helpful and useful !!!

Piggies are social animals and do much better in pairs (same sex of course).I am sure everyone here will tell you that.

However I had a lone pig,my very first GP.She was alone and quite happy/content.So I guess there is the odd time it is okay.I WAS looking for a friend for her.But I no longer have Apolla. She technically belonged to my friend anyway.

I am currently fostering two male pigs and I can tell they are very bonded/close and rely on eachother for comfort and I only had them for a few hours!

So I would get a new piggy if I were you.
