So I lost my little angel Lucy overnight and now Maya (the mouse in my signature) is all alone. Should I get her a friend? And if so how would I introduce them without them fighting? Thanks for anything! :mouse:

I found this...sounds very similar to what I do with rat intro's, but on a smaller scale LOL.

The good thing is your wee mouse lived with a companion, it seems the mice that have always lived alone are the hardest to intro. :)

Good luck!

They almost always fight at first, but with slow intros, lots of room, and two food/water/hides, they should eventually be ok.

Thanks a bunch, this website works really well, I think I will keep the two cages next to each other at first and every few hours and switch them around so that they can smell each other. Hopefully it works out!
