Help!! PD has loose tooth!

My PD had an accident a few days ago where she fell on her face after taking a bold leap while playing. Today I noticed her top tooth was wiggly and not aligned with her other tooth. I immediately contacted our vets office and we are waiting to hear back from the specialist to tell us what to do. Well, while we were waiting, I handed her a piece of hay, she took it and slide it through her teeth causing the loose tooth to come forward and the next thing I know, its gone. I don't know where it went, but I inspected her mouth and there was some blood from where it came, which leads me to believe that the whole tooth came out out socket. She is still eating like a champ and still believes she is queen of the universe, even now.

We are still waiting for the vet, I was wondering if this happened to anyone else and if so, what happened? Or what special precautions did you take? Any advice is appreciated.

**(Amazing)UPDATE**
So I took Kosh the the specialist that night, the doc said her tooth was completely gone and we could both see straight into the tooth socket. He gave her some pre-emptive antibiotics and pain meds. He said it was a 50/50 that her teeth would come back, but if they did, it would be 4-6 weeks. I was devastated, considering that teeth are virtually her livelihood (next to her good looks). Well, two and a half weeks later, we were snuggling with her in bed and noticed that she had two teeth again!! 2 1/2 weeks and her tooth was back at the same length and even with her other tooth. I am truly amazed (once again!) at the resilience of these creatures. Prairie dogs FTW!
