If you want a really fun, but very messy "toy" hang up a small roll of toilet paper (NOT a full roll) and leave the end hanging...it will end up filling up your cage but wow they will have a Blast doing it! 
or you could be really nice and let your comforter touch their cage, where those little monkey paws can reach it!
