I just had a hydrometer in my degu cage and found that the humidity was approx 32-35% also the temperature was 78 degrees fairenheit. I know this is low humidity and high temperature but i dont know what to do. I have AC in my house but its not helping all that much cause we keep our house at 75. I really dont know what to do about the humidity. I am even suffering mildly from the low humidity (at least I think thats what it is) the stuffy nose and dry nose and the migranes from the dryness. What should I do and is this a bad thing for the degus. I mean they seem fine I have had them for a long while now. but im still worried. thanks.

Degus are fine with low humidity, it's high temperatures that can be dangerous. 78 is a little high for them but it should be OK if it doesn't get higher. You can give them a slab of marble or slate for them to lie in to cool down :). They even sell one pre-cut for chinchillas called the "Chin Cooler" or something.
