I'm finally moving from an apt. into a house, but I have 10 cages and 37 rats to move as well. Has anyone on here ever moved with their rats? What's the best way to approach this?! I'm so stressed!!!

I'd say convert 10 storage bins to travel cages so you can keep the appropriate groupings separate. It's good to keep enough emergency travel cages for all your rats to be moved at once in the event of an evacuation situation anyway.

I love the storage bin idea!! Pseudo--you can get them for about $5 at Walmart or Target when they are on sale. That seems like a great way to transport them. :)

You can get a bin for between 3-10 dollars from most any Walmart/Target/Lowes/BedBathBeyond etc type store.

Here's an idea for making a bin cage that's a little more long term than a trip across town, such as a hospital cage or a whelping cage that needs a bit more ventilation.

Here's a google search of a variety of homemade bin cages for all kinds of rodents.
