Hehe...funny how you can "seize the moment" with a snapshot to form a perception, isn't it? Seriously, they are very good babies.:baby: :angel:Keritsubo said:Oh how sweet! They are both so cute and they seem well behaved... hehe at least sitting still long enough for a picture. :^P
Paris is my first poodle. She chose me one day while I was checking out dogs at the local shelter. She had been very skidish to everybody, I was told by the staff, but came right up and licked my face...the rest is history. Poor baby was labeled a "tan" poodle when I adopted her, as she was so dirty and unkempt. After several baths and a clip down, I realized she was actually quite white!chocolatepuppy said:So cute, someday I will have a poodle, I grew up with one.
Paris is estimated to be about 5 yrs. Rocky is 4 yrs. His former mommy chose to give him away because he was being bullied by the St. Bernards and Boxers she was breeding. Poor baby! He is the boss these days as Paris is the submissive one. They get along fine, as you can see in this pic; it gets a bit tense when Paris comes around when Rocky is eating or enjoying a greenie, though! I think Rocky is used to the big boys horning in on his food.Jodi said:Adorable!!
How old are they? They're so cute, love the leopard jammies!
I was suprised to see you say poodles are of german heritage, so I did some googling! Seems their actual heritage is somewhat of a mystery. Can't blame anyone for wanting to lay claim on them, though! Interesting!pihlaja said:Awww ... Rocky looks like he needs a sweater, blanket, and a hug. :lovies:
Very cute babies!
(Psst ... poodles are German. :winky: )
I feel fortunate to have acquired Rocky. His former owner supposedly picked me out of 60 something potential new owners. Kind of like winning the lottery! I sometimes consider finding a powder puff lady just once for him, but then I think of all the dogs already looking for homes and it just seems kind of selfish to me.Chinchilla_Girl said:They are so cute! Aww...you are so lucky to have a Chinese Crested! I WANT one SOOO bad! The head vet tech at work has a powder puff Chinese Crested named Luvme. She's adorable!! No one can resist Luvme!
