That's pretty typical of baby rabbits. Once they become adolescents they'll tend to become less clingy. I find a lot of rabbits get dumped at our rescue because they're purchased as babies when they're adorable and have a tendency to stick to one person and be very friendly and then when they mature they become more aloof and independent and sometimes even aggressive if they're not altered.

That is what my take is on it as well. So sad that people would give up on a family member like that. I am in high hopes that she will stay sweet. aloof is ok with me and slightly independent is ok too. I think we all enjoy time to ourselves and I will respect that. I can tell when she wants out of her HUGE cage to play because she will follow me and make eye conact and rear up in her cage and almost reach out to me. She gets very excited LOL I open the cage to see if she wants to come out on her own but so far she loves to be picked up to be taken out because when I put my hand in she jumps into my hand. I am expecting that to fade with age but will cherish it while it lasts. I have never had a baby bunny that was so into people. When I was in 4H and showed my rabbits they were all so distant even as babies. She will of course be altered the appropriate age and so will my Flemish Giant. They are both very young. This is such a great expeirience and am loving every moment of the baby stages.

Flemish on the otherhand are so different. They are so much more laid back and the personality is quite different even as adults.

Aw, I think due to Acacia's byb home she just never got to bond right with people. I think the kids living there scared her more than they did socialise her I love my picky bunny. Once you get over the distant relationship, you develop a different kind of bond. Matt disagrees. It takes a special kind of person to want to keep such a snotty brat I love my Acacia berry and wouldn't give her up for the world. I'm glad you both are the same with Speckle and your new lionhead
