Is this definitely a yeast infection in my dog?

We got back from vacation about 5 days ago and ever since my dog has been itching all over, with a lot of irritation in his ears. He is a cockerspaniel-poodle and is 6 years old. He went into the vet and they said he had a yeast infection in his ear. I believe he does, but why is he itching all over his body, and why is their small flaky brown stuff on the tip of his ears (not in the inside). I think the flaky brown stuff may be dry skin but am uncertain. What would be causing these other symptoms if it is just a yeast infection in the ear?

Hi! That's a really common problem in Cockers and Cocker mixes.

Yeast infections can easily spread to other parts of the body, hence the scratching. When it affects the whole body, diet is usually to blame and the infections won't go away until that's taken care of. What food and treats do you feed him?

What did the vet give you for the ears?

I guess this is kind of common problem, yeast infections can easily be spread to other parts of the body, I think you should take care of her and give her proper food and if it is possible take her to vet.
