Jackson Chameleon closed eyes?

My 1 year old Jackson's Chameleon's eyes just won't open. I read online that i should apply warm water and saline solution in his eyes. I've tried that, and they're still closed. I'm going to my vet friend in a couple of days but I need to know what's wrong with my Cham.

If it was me, I'd bring him to the vet, not wait a few days to talk to a friend who's a vet. You don't want him to go blind as feeding will end up nearly impossible (he won't be able to hunt himself or anything).

Is it stuck shed or something?
No it's not shed. I've actually had him for about a month now, and he hasn't shed once yet.
For a chameleon, lethargy and keeping their eyes closed all the time are generally the first signs of something more serious wrong... but that could be just about anything from stress, incorrect temperatures, dehydration, lack of proper UV, an infection, impaction... the list goes on. Besides telling you to double check your temperature and humidity numbers, make sure he's getting misted enough for hydration, make sure his UV lighting is positioned for him to get adequate exposure, and ensure he's kept in a low stress environment... a vet who can examine him directly is going to be able to give you a better answer.
