Limping dog

My wirehair foxie always limps when he comes home from the groomer?what gives? I can touch his foot everywhere and although the pads are slightly red he doesn't flinch when I touch them. Anyone else have this problem?

do they trim his nails? he could have some irritation from the trimmer on his toe hairs, or they trim his nails a little too short.

Well I thought about that too. I checked all his nails and they seemed fine, so,,,am at a loss as to what it is. Perhaps they bend his foot back too far when trimming the nails? It seems to be his actual foot that is the problem. Not sure.:confused:
