Well, Minnie and I have been doing some serious bonding - last night she slept in my hoodie for over an hour while I did little chores around the house and watched TV. One on one time with such a little girl was very nice. I took some pictures last night that I thought you would all like to see!

I LOVE the pictures! Minnie is soooo sweet and adorable! What a cutie pie she is. Her dumbo ears really add the final sweet touch to that beautiful face. I would love to carry her around with me too! She is a special little sweetheart. I am glad she has a loving home with you. Give her a cuddle and a kiss from me! :sneakyhug

P.S. on my last post...Minnie is the PERFECT name for her. Just fits so well! She is a "mini-mouse" so to speak, you know? Even though she is actually a "mini-rat" but, wow, a perfect and adorable name.

Thanks guys! I love the name Minnie too, Liam picked it and it's so sweet. At first I didn't know what to call her and our daughter Emma started calling her Zuzu (for all of you who know what Zuzu Pets are). That stuck for about fifteen minutes, but I wanted to call her something like Oreo or Hershey. Then Liam said Minnie and I was sold. I think the dumbo ears is what does it Vlad, she's perfect. She is pretty sketchy though, I don't think she was handled as much as either Lilly or Mercedes (Lilly especially). That snuggle in my hoodie last night was a good start! I almost want to get her a Mickey LOL!!! JK

Yes, my husband and I are just suckers for dumbo ears. Don't they just automatically make a rat look even more innocent and sweet? I think so. Your bonding session was indeed a great start. I am sure Minnie already loves you. :yes:

I'll pass that on to him. :yes: And I agree, dumbo ears are just that finishing touch that make a ratty perfect. Especially on a baby with dumbo ears, it's like a teeny tiny teddy bear. Too perfect LOL. I'm stoked to see what Lilly's babies come out as.. the cage she was in had a black and white dumbo ear in it and a dark brown fancy... I was under the impression they were all girls but one of them obviously got her pregnant. I hope the dumbo ear was the boy that did the deed.

Aww, yep, those gorgeous dumbo ears just make me want to snuggle dumbo ratties and kiss them over and over!
Maybe it WAS a dumbo male that did the deed eh? I guess you will find out soon!
