Well I suspect that this story might not pass muster.. but that being said I'm going to throw my hat in the ring and go with monkey camouflage or monkeyflage. Basically it is for military operations taking place in forests or jungle with a dense canopy. A large population of monkeys is trained to stay directly overhead and stay with the human soldiers. The body heat of the monkeys then prevents the human soldiers from being detected by thermal imaging. Since the dense canopy already blocks visual identification, you now have a stealthed jungle unit.
or maybe the monkeys just do all the paper work?
I wouldn't put it past them. Pouch rats, dogs and falcons are trained for the military now as it is for detecting mines and whatever. Monkeys are smart. People in India already have guard monkeys chained to their trucks bc they're fiercely territorial. Either way, if they use monkeys or not, the military still uses biological warfare and tactics anyway. Attach a bomb or surveillance to a monkey and noone would suspect a thing
