My cat is vomiting orange vomit

My 10 year old cat seems to be vomiting about once a week. Today she vomited a thick, orange, digested blob of vomit. I am not sure what is going on.

She is eating and drinking, napping, affectionate.

What could be going on?

Thanks.

I suggest you bring her to the vet asap as cats tend to hide pain very well.
yeah i definitely agree, to the vet ASAP! my cats were both really sick and i couldn't tell and the only thing i could see was that they were being strange with their litterbox, otherwise they were playing and purring and eating like normal. we had to undergo a 10 day antibiotic that they hated (they're totally fine now), but yeah you definitely need to get them to the vet and have them looked at.
Does he have incident of vomiting hairball before? Bring him to the vet for closer look..
Just a thought - maybe your cat is allergic to her food? One of my cats couldn’t tolerate the chicken in her food and was vomiting it up so we don’t give it to her anymore and she never has any stomach issues now. We feed her Natural Balance LID in Green Pea & Salmon dry and canned food and she loves it. Hope your kitty feels better!
