I put new soft paws on my boys today. What do you think? :D

For anyone that hasn't heard of soft paws, here's their site: http://www.softpaws.com/
They are an alternative to declawing, totally harmless.
Yes, I am promoting them even though I get nothing for it. I want others to know about them instead of thinking that declawing is the only option.

Best pics I could get:

Wow! I've never heard of softpaws before. It sounds like a great idea though. I've always been very against declawing. So, that's nice that there's a reasonable alternative. They're very cute in these pictures too. :D

Hi Riese (or anyone else that uses the soft paws),
Do the cats bother with them after they're applied? I trim my cats' claws regularly, which takes care of them scratching us and the furniture, but there are still areas of our carpet that they demolish when we aren't looking. I'm thinking this might be a solution, if they will leave them on.

I trim mine regularly too and they don't really scratch anything, but sometimes China will scratch the couch when he's angry with us and Hyrum has got a new habbit of scratching the side of the matress. :mad2:

They are super glued on with animal safe glue. Mine can only pull them off if I haven't let the glue dry enough before letting them go. They always try to get them off for about 20 minutes or so and then they just give up. If you want I could make a video of how I do it. Hyrum got one off that day cuz it wasn't dry enough so I could show you how I put that one on if you'd like. Just let me know. :)

Tip: The clear soft paws and any other color with clear as the base (One's I know of are: blue, red, black) come off way sooner(Don't last as long) then the solid colors.

What I mean by clear as the base is that they are just the clear nail covers dipped in the color, so the color is just a coating over the clear, make sense? I'm not sure why, maybe it's because they are a lot softer and a lot more flexible than the solid ones.

I absolutely LOVE those on your kitties! Especially how you have made them look so festive. hee hee. And, I don't know about anyone else, but the next time you apply them to your kitties, I would love to see how they are applied, if it isn't too hard to make a video. I'm curious to see how hard it is. And, if you wouldn't mind explaining on the video also the different kinds that hold better, I'm still kind of fuzzy of which hold better. Maybe if you showed me on video it would click quicker for me. I will re-read it tomorrow, I'm pretty tired right now. LOL

Lol, you are too funny. Yes, I will make a video of it even though I hate being on video, I can't stand my voice, but I can only do one nail, cuz they still have the rest, lol. And I'll show you what I mean about which nails last longer. :)
