Hi everyone,
My name is Terry and I live in Central Maine. My human kids are grown and gone. I've been married for nearly 31 years. I enjoy gardening, cross stitching, and my husband and I are very active with the Boy Scouts.
My fur babies are as follows.
Cedar, a sable Sheltie, will be 6 months old at the end of December. He is recovering from a broken leg he received when he jumped off the couch at 90 miles an hour a week before Thanksgiving.
Beauty, is a Collie/Greyhound cross and is 13 years old. She was a rescue that we got when she was 7. She has renal kidney failure. She's on prescription food, and I give her inter muscular fluids every other week.
Then we have Misty. He is a domestic short hair cat and he will be 23 years old this coming April! He's always been an indoor/outdoor cat. The vet says this is unheard of for a cat that goes outside. We live in a very rural area. I can't believe nothing hasn't had him for lunch.
We lost our best friend at the end of July. Hobey was a sable Sheltie, 14 years old. He was our constant companion and loved by many.
I'm looking forward to getting to know many of you here.
