new rat friend:) but dont know the type or age

So for my birthday Friday my friend bought me a rat because I've wanted one for a long time now. I've done a lot of research since then and I can't figure out what kind of rat my new baby is. She's small (her body is the size of the palm of my hand) with little wispy hairs on her head and a bald body with a furry butt. Her head is black and the rest of her is white. She has curly whiskers so I thought she might be a rex or double rex but she's not very bald or has curly hair.. can anyone maybe give me a guess about her age or type?

I'm new to this so I don't know how to post a picture..

Thank you:)

She sounds like a double rex to me. But we cannot be sure without pictures. Also can't guess her age without a picture.

Also rats do better in pairs,so you should get a female buddy for her.
How do I post a picture on here? And I know she needs a friend but it was a battle just for me to keep her lol so I plan on getting her a friend once my family warms up to her but until then I just try to play with her myself as much as I can
shes alot smaller than what she looks like in the picture. about the siz of the palm of my hand without her tail of course

LOL I know about the battle situation I had it too. My fience gave in and said I could get a rat for my Birthday. (there is a story behind why he let me get one. hehe I will post it later) But I did research on them and printed it all out. Once he got home from work I started reading it aloud the reasons why they are better with another cage mate. My three kids didn't think he was gonna go for it and I told them I could do it took me 45 mins and he said fine go ahead that will be your mothers day gift, BUT that is it no more!! So the next day I went and picked up Babys sister whom is Star! My avatar is their reuniting day I did it on our bed as to not have any territory issues. and they had only been seperated for a week so all was good.
Even though they are sisters Baby is a curly haired fancy and Star is a straight haied fancy
yours reminds me of Baby when I got her
lol well unfortunately im only 17 so whatever my parents say still goes (unfortunately. for another year atleast lol) but can you look at my picture and maybe tell me what kind she is or how old?
She is a double rex from what I can see and she is really cute.

I understand. When I was 15 or 16,I snuck two rats into the house...my very first rats. I already had mice at the time. Mom was not pleased, but she eventually warmed up to them and she likes rats to this day.
thank you:) i just got her friday and im in love already. could she still be a baby? how big do they normally grow?
yes looks like she is still a baby. she is defenatley under 6 months they grow fast as their life span is not long. Not sure of the type she is. When I got baby she fit in the palm of my hand as well and was only 2-3 months
It looks like she is in a glass tank. Just as a tip, rats need a lot of ventilation as they are prone to respiratory problems. A wire house is much better for rats so they get more air circulation, and it also allows them to climb on the sides of the housing, which is a fun and stimulating activity for them.
She is adorable, and yes--Vlad is right about the tank. Because of the respiratory issues, wire cages are much better for their lungs, and they also provide much more space for the rat to run around and play in when they aren't having free time.
