Well I am planning on getting some fire belly newts this week.I had them when I was a kid,but didn't know too much back then.I do know how to care for them and all of the basics.


I was updating my info on them and found out there are TWO species of fire bellied newts! Chinese and Japanese! But I don't know how to tell them apart.They look the same to me from all the pictures!


Help! What is the difference?
I feel dumb now!

Thanks! I can tell the difference now! The most common ones sold around here are the Chinese! It helped me alot.
