I can never find a straight feeding amount and time for African Shell Dwellers. I was wondering how much to feed them. I have 3 of them in my 10 gallon tank and they are set up perfectly with shells and all, but one of them gets scared easily and swims really fast into its shell if it sees or senses movement. This is a problem because when I feed them that one cichlid swims back in and doesn't get any food. I don't watch the whole thing, but from what I saw it hasn't eaten in almost 2-3 days.

What do you feed them? A few days without food isn't a big deal for most fish. Are these new fish or have you had them for a while?
