I have a painted turtle and when I got home today he was upside down in the bottom of his tank. We got him out of the water and put him right side up in a dry bucket and a few minutes later he moved his head around so i know he's still alive. He lives in a 70 gallon tank that is filled 80% of the way with water and there are some fish in it and an "island" with dry area, rocks some plants.

I've had him about 10 years and he's never gone upside down before. He does go into hibernation every winter and sits on his island for a few months straight and doesn't eat or move. I thought he was coming out of hibernation yesterday because he was swimming around but he didnt want to eat, which usually he eats a lot when he wake up after winter. The only thing i can think of is the UV light in the tank went out a few days ago so there is just normal fish tank light in there now, would that harm him? What can i do?
