Exo-Terra Snake Cave
***** Five Stars

I purchase an Exo-Terra snake cave a few years ago and a Christmas present for my corn snake Cheerios. She is always in this cave and loves it, I would recommended it to any snake owner.

Exo-Terra.com

The Exo Terra Snake Cave makes the perfect addition to your terrarium. A proper hiding area is an essential feature of the natural terrarium. Without a safe hideout and resting area, reptiles and amphibians can easily develop stress that may affect their activity and appetite. The natural look of the Exo Terra Snake Cave allows it to integrate into any type of terrarium, and its sturdy design prevents it from being easily tipped over by larger reptiles. The Exo Terra Snake Cave also includes natural moss, which can be dampened to create a moist hideout or nesting box for various species of snakes and lizards.

  • Moss included
  • Ideal for snakes and lizards
  • Natural look, integrates with desert and tropical terrariums
  • Easy to clean
  • Provides a secure hiding place
  • Prevents stress
  • Very stable, not easily tipped over by larger reptiles
  • Perfect nesting site for various species of snakes and lizards

neato, i'm glad she likes it, i read normally they don't like the pricey hides that pet stores sell but rather free hides that people find around the house... like butter tubs, and boxes hehe

Thanks! This is really cool. I have a yellow corn snake and he usually hides under his water dish. I think he'd like this a lot more.

snake caves

Great idea because as we all know snakes can be funny little chaps if things are not ok for them,,,, i recently had problems with my corn Syruss as he stopped eating for a good 5 weeks and i was getting very concerned about him . But i moved his tank about and then a friend brought me some new bowls they use in hospital that are used for all sorts made from card , so cutting a hole in the front for him and placing it over his heater mat , after a few days he began to feed again with no problems ,, but they cost me nothing which was even better ...... Happy days!!!!!!!:D

It you didn't have any other hides on the tank that is most likely why he wasn't eating.

What are the temperatures in the vivarium? Did you let him cool?

If you post a thread in the snake section we will better be able to help you there.
