Awwww. Love his apartment! And look how slinky he is, curious sweetheart.

You know, Hector doesn't look like a PEW in those pictures. He looks more like a Himalayan or a marked Siamese.

So I wonder how I find out what kind of rat he is... any idea?

P.S. on my last post...we love that you have pictures of Zoe and Leo on your signature. What beautiful sweeties they were, and giving them the credit for opening you up to how wonderful lil furries are. Glad you have those photos alongside Hector's. Nice. :)

Thanks for noticing and commenting about little Zoe and Leo... I only had Zoe for like 3.. maybe 4 days... on the second to last day she was doing so good.. i could pick her up.. pet her.. feed her... then the next morning at like 7.. maybe 8.. i checked on her and she was not moving so well.. so I picker her up and held her in my hands for about an hour and fifteen minutes.. I could tell she was not doing good.. then at the end she had a seizure.. or heart attack.. or something... I dunno.. but she violently jerked in my hand and flipped over.. I turned her up and was petting her head and ear.. while she tried to take her last few struggled breathes.. then she passed. I was DEVISTATED!! I am a 350lb 39yr old man.. who used to pro wrestle.. Here i was with a wee little wild mouse clutched in my hands and I was crying my eyes out. I kept saying no.. no.. no.. and Im so sorry Zoe.. im so sorry... So my point was, that little mouse in 3 or 4 days stole my heart so much it is hard to put in words.. amazing. I will never forget that little mouse.. espically the night I caught her.. i went into the kitchen at like 3 in the morning.. and there she was .. perched on top of this black velvet knife holder thing.. Sitting there motionless.. thinking.. oh no.. did that big human see me.. hehe.. anyway i caught her that night and here we are a month later with Hector the Rat and I love him so...

I about cried again typing this about Zoe... Type at you all soon..

James, you're such a sweetheart :) I do wish my babies could meet your Hector! Ha. Hector DOES look like a Siamese or something of the sort! He's got that little brown nose like my Siamese.

Thanks Talamos... I was talking to a breeder in central Florida.. and she saw a picture of Hector and she said he looks like a mismarked himalayan.. so we are going with that!! lol

PS. are there pictures of your little guys up?
