My younger degu seems to have teary eyes - the fur beneath both eyes is damp. I tried giving him a dust bath and he looked better for a bit but the fur is damp again (a few hours later). He's also been squeaking and chattering on and off all evening...ideas? what should i do?

it's definitely not the bedding cause it's the same as he's always had. he looks better today...i'll keep an eye on him and take him to the vet if the teariness continues. thanks!!
