I have 3 daughters(human 7,2,and 1) and 3 daughters(rats). There is box upon box of old baby toys that just are not good enough for them. They have moved on o bigger and better toys i guess. (wish they were still amuzed by a ball or block) Anyway just searched toys for rats got some good cheap ideas thanks, but was wondering what old toys of my kids would be safe for my rats as well. The way I see it why not recycle them befor I senr the rest to the local thrift store for other kids to enjoy.

I have done this too.

I have a 5 yr old daughter. As long as there are no choking parts or anything they cannot get stuck in or any heads/limbs stuck in,you should be good.

I have given my rats in the past rattles, balls, wooden blocks,a farmhouse and even a couple of stuffed toys. Now that my daughter is older she has things like Barbie and such and nothing really suitable for my rats when she no longer wants it or plays with it.
