Tucker, what type of dog? (Pics)

Okay, here are some pictures of Tucker. He's 9 weeks old. It's hard to tell from my craptastic iPhone pictures, but he's black with brown mixed in (vet said brindle) and then he's got the white markings. Foster family said he was chihuahua mix, vet didn't think so. He weighs about 4 pounds (was 2.8 two weeks ago) The gray pup is Milo (Scottie/Yorkie)

He will be bigger than a chi-chi if he's already 4lbs at 9 weeks old. maybe a boston terrier mix

omg !!! Cute overload!! He's brindle for sure (brindle includes the white splash). Judging from his paw size, he might be medium size when he grows up ^^ He's got a smooth coat of a boston terrier. But his ears are floppy. I don't know enough about boston terriers and french bulldogs to tell when their ears stand up. Anyway, He's REALLLY cute!!! And his new buddy is cute too Congrats

Aw he's a cutie! His coloring is just about exactly the same as my sisters new mix puppy - I love the little white toes!

My dog had floppy ears when we got him at 9 weeks old but his ear started to stand up more when he was around 4 months old. Not sure if that time frame is the same for all breeds - I've heard it can take longer than that sometimes too. Their ears can go crazy when they are teething too - they'll be up one day, down the next, up again the next...haha.

It's usually a lot easier to guess breeds when the dogs are full grown when you see the dogs adult features and size. But no matter what he is, he is adorable!!

Thanks guys! I know it really doesn't matter what he is, it's just fun to know. We know what our other two are, I wanna know what this lil guy is too!

He has the expression of a boston

Possibly mixed with a floppy eared dog... i would guess some sort of terrier

Poor Tucker has been having a lot of problems with diarrhea that his owners have been working on since they adopted him. There are other posts here about Tucker and his tummy troubles, if you're interested the topics should be pretty easy to find as they are all recent.

Thanks, Dragonrain He is definitely a thin guy right now! He's eating us out of house and home but with the diarrhea, he's not filling out like we'd like him too. We are making yet another stop at the vet this afternoon (they know my voice when I call! :craazy It's been a tough three weeks! We're doing everything we can though. I'd love to see him filling out.
