Is she cutting teeth? The last picture you posted looks like her two bottoms are poking up.
her 2 bottom ones are in :) and the two others on the top are starting to poke in :) also a few more white spots for teeth coming in :giggle:
For some reason Gavin's white spots didn't cut teeth. He didn't get his two bottoms in until he was 7 1/2 months old, and I think his two front ones are starting to cut, too. Alyson's an early cutter!
Haha yah she is :) she's also a big baby already in 9-12 months clothes and 20 pounds hehe
Yup. Gavin was in 9-12 month clothing at 5 months, too. Now he's in 24 month clothing and he's nearly 10 months and 27 lbs, lol. Don't let anyone say she's fat. She's a HEALTHY baby.
Beautiful pics and no matter how "big" the baby is, it doesn't mean anything because they change so much so quickly. You both have BEAUTIFUL eyes
I think they need to reconsidered how to size baby clothes, other than newborn and premie they don't seem to match the age to the size. It isn't like you have a giant child, most don't appear to stay in the sizes.
You're right, Kendalle. People also USED to believe in "apple babies, pear babies, and banana babies", but now it seems they've ditched that because I can't find anyone talking about it, and now babies are either "too fat" or "just right". Ugh. My son is nearly 10 months old, and true to breastfed babies grew rapidly for the first 6 months, and then leveled off to where he's hardly gained anything since then. He was in 3-6 month clothing at 2 months old, 6-9 month clothing at 3 months old up to about 6 months old then he was in 9-12 months clothing. Now at 9 1/2 months he's in 24 month clothing, and been in these since he was probably about 7 months old. I think what they need to do is label clothing based on weight and height, not approx age.
it would be harder to shop for but i think it would make more mothers feel like their babies weren't abnormal based on their clothes, because their babies aren't abnormal to be in a different size than the age they are.

does your little one have a bumbo ? aly just got one yesturday and she loves the darn thing i think she loves the indepedance of being able to sit on her own.
Nah. I just sat him on the floor and tried to catch him before he fell backwards too hard. Before too long he learned what to do with his body so that when he fell backwards he rolled into it instead of thumping down hard.
My baby sister have one bumbo.,it helps her sit on her own..

aly loves her bumbo i thought it would be a stupid useless invention, but our doctor recommended it because aly is so tall and so big for her age, its suppose to help strengthen there back i think it was he said but regardless she sat in it for 3 hours today playing with her toys hehe
Yeah, I'm not a fan of those developmental aides, either. My mom wanted to get Gavin a walker because he likes standing up so much, which I told her I was against because he'll learn to walk on his own and I prefer it that way, but apparently the only reason she isn't getting one now is because she heard from my MIL that all the bouncing around a boy can do in a walker can jostle /impact his scrotum and lead to infertility later in life. Something like that, I dunno. I've never heard of it but I'll willingly take any excuse, lol.

walkers are actually illegal here in canada since the 90s sometime,iv never heard of it hurting there scrotum aly has a jolly jumper and loves it. however back to the walkers being illegal here health canada says because so many babies fell down stairs ect, but if you think about it its no more dangerous then a jolly jumper that hangs on the door frame, parents just need to watch there children its sad that babies get hurt fo that reason.
and babies crawling can fall down stairs... the invention of a baby gate is amazing :p parents do lose their mind though with all that crying
Yeah, I'm actually a victim of having fallen down the stairs (13 stairs to be exact) in my walker....I'm still alive, I might be a little weird but I'm not missing any pieces LOL. Actually I'm from Canada and a lot of people always ask me to bring them walkers when I travel from USA to Canada (mostly family members). Just sayin'

Did you read what health canada is trying to do now ? they banned walkers and now there trying to band bumbos because parents are sitting there kids in the bumbos on there tables and not watching the kids. :(
Yeah it's ridiculous. As with anything, supervision is required it's just that there are a few dumb people that mess it up for other people. Nibbler, they are talking about maybe banning it too in the US.
