Hi, we are a local breeder and one of our females is currently pregnant. We have confirmed this with our vet however she thinks there could only be one puppy. Has anyone had this happen and then ended up with more than one pup?

We are also a local breeder and have had many occasions where the vet got the number of puppies incorrect. They like to hide up by the ribs or close together. We actually broke down and bought our own ultrasound machine so we can monitor them closer without always being at the vet. It is normal for a vet to mistake the number of puppies. It just happens and it's no wonder.
