This past month I have been fostering a wonderful Momma gerbil and her 5 babies that were abandond.
They are a wonderful little family of Mom her 3 boys and 2 girls.

Mom is a beautiful, Friendly young Lilac,

She has 3 beautiful blacks, with the cutest white stripes down there chin and chest ( 2 males, 1 female),

And two Cutie pie Lilac who just love you burrow (1 boy, 1 girl)

So if you are in our area, and are looking for a new pet that is lots of fun, not smelly, is friendly and lives in groups (never mind are totally adorable, & entertaining!). Please consider adopting from SARS BC http://www.smallanimalrescue.org/.

Thank you! :)

If you go to the SARS Homepage you have to fill out forms before your adoption can be processed. All people looking to adopt MUST fill the forms and be accepted before animals can go to 'just anyone'. It's a whole process which helps the animals go to loving forever homes that are responcible, and it makes sure people know what they are taking on before adopting the animal. Application Forms Link -http://www.smallanimalrescue.org/applicationforms.html

I have 15 gerbils right now of my own, and I plan on contuning to Foster more gerbils and other animals through SARS, if these guy's find a loving home then it means I will have more space to continue to help more animals in need. If they don't find homes they are more the welcome to stay with me.

Filling out forms. . .

This story is still in the Dog forum, and the only thread there I started there; it is several months old. You can find it if you wish.

A labrador retriever's owner was killed in a car accident, and Long Island lab rescue had him. They knew me as I got him for the deceased lady originally. So, they asked me to check out the person who wanted to adopt him. She had claimed only one handicap - she was missing a hand.

When I got there she was in a motorized wheelchair, with oxygen tubes up her nose, only one arm, and no legs!

So don't believe everything people fill out.

It is so wonderful that you take them in and give them a loving temporary home. If I lived in a bigger home I would love to do this, but my problem I get so attached to them, I would probably end up keeping them all. Good luck w/finding them homes, they are really cute.

They are so cute. We have a rodent rescue here in Montreal too, it is sad to see so many of them abandoned.

We live in a sad world.... People just dump their pet like an old pair of shoes. It is really sad to see.

Good luck in getting the little ones adopted, I wish I wasn't so far, I would list them on my site for you.
