Oh my, SUPER Gross! I can't help I'm terrified of the horrid things! I don't know the name of those; we used to get them in our garden this time of year and I just called them garden spiders.

Rav's right. It's in the genus Araneus, one of the orb weaving, garden spiders.

To know the exact species, you'd need better pictures.

Their normal routine is to spin the web each evening, eating what they can catch after dark. Then, after sunrise, to consume the web itself and hide most of the day.
