Oh Spaz, Xanthe was just beautiful...what a little angel she was. Such big eyes...just melting here. You said she got adopted out at first, but then got beat up by her previously sweet family...did you mean a rat family or people??

I loved the photos, and the one of her with the halfie boy...oh my, she looked so protective and nurturing over him in that photo. What a special lady. Play and run hard little girl and I know you are happy right now with all of your cousins.

My friend ran a rescue and took her and her young sisters to the rescue to be adopted out, but she was there for a few months and "fortunately" her former rat family decided she was to be shunned.

Oh thank the ratty gods...I am relieved. I was assuming (and hoping) you meant rat family and not a human family. You saved me from a meltdown.
