I recently just bought two male guinea pigs and when they are around other pigs, and recently eachother while I was changing their cage, they spray something that smells awful! it also stains carpets and blankets..whatever they are on. I just want to know if anyone knows what this is and if neutering them will help or no?

Guinea pigs are different than rabbits, and neutering won't stop them from making this smell. They will do it in the presence of females, but also just in general for territoriality. They will especially scent mark if they are in a cage that's too small and are spending most of their time "claiming" territory.
